Transition Year

Since its introduction in 2008 the Transition Year Programme has
proven to be an outstanding success. Students have the opportunity
to sample a wide range of curricular options, co-curricular and
extra- curricular activities, external programmes and projects.

In addition to influencing subject choice and ultimately career
choice, Transition Year is proven to enhance academic performance
and increase points in the Leaving Certificate.
